DPR (Dynamic Print Routing) is the Newest Innovation in “Pull Printing” technology.

Enhance Mobility
DPR’s “Pull Printing” technology lets you output your print jobs anytime, anywhere. Suppose you print a handout for a meeting, but you don’t have time to pick it up at your local printer.  With DPR, you can use your iPhone, Android or other mobile device to “pull” the print job to the printer outside the conference room. The whole process is as easy as taking a picture.

Promote Security
Suppose you’re sending a confidential document to the printer. Normally, you’d have to worry about unauthorized parties viewing or even grabbing the print job while you rush to pick it up. DPR, lets you use your mobile device for security “authentication”, so your print jobs only output when you’re physically at the printer and ready to pick  them up.

All too often, people realize that a document needs to be changed immediately after they send it to the printer. Or they accidentally print multiple copies. With DPR, print jobs don’t output until the sender is actually at the printer and ready to print. So the sender can delete  obsolete or duplicate print jobs before they waste a single piece of paper. DPR lets you “pull” the job to whichever network printer is most convenient, even after you’ve already printed. What if you decide that you need more than one copy? With DPR, you can print additional copies – even days later – without having to waste time resending the job to the printer.

Save Time with Email Forwarding

While waiting for that meeting to start, you check your email on your tablet and discover that someone has sent you an Excel file as an attachment. You could go back to your office, reopen the email on your desktop PC, open Excel, open the attachment, and send the file to print. Or, with DPR, you could simply forward the email to a special email address, and DPR will automatically print the attachment. Just think of how much time you’ll save if you have a number of different types of attachments in a single email. In addition to supporting the most popular office document formats (doc, xls, ppt…), DPR supports PDF attachments and most common graphic formats (jpg, tif, png…).

Enhance Accountability
