documents by holding print jobs inside the printer or mfp device until you’re physically present to pick them up.■ Secure delivery of sensitive documents

DPR (Dynamic Print Routing)
What is DPR?
DPR (Dynamic Print Routing) is the Newest Innovation in “Pull Printing” technology.
With DPR you can use your mobile device to release your print job when and where you need it.Implementing DPR in your organization will:
• Enhance Mobility
• Promote Security
• Save Money
• Boost Productivity
• Enhance AccountabilityEnhance Mobility
DPR’s “Pull Printing” technology lets you output your print jobs anytime, anywhere. Suppose you print a handout for a meeting, but you don’t have time to pick it up at your local printer. With DPR, you can use your iPhone, Android or other mobile device to “pull” the print job to the printer outside the conference room. The whole process is as easy as taking a picture.Promote Security
Suppose you’re sending a confidential document to the printer. Normally, you’d have to worry about unauthorized parties viewing or even grabbing the print job while you rush to pick it up. DPR, lets you use your mobile device for security “authentication”, so your print jobs only output when you’re physically at the printer and ready to pick them up.Save Money
All too often, people realize that a document needs to be changed immediately after they send it to the printer. Or they accidentally print multiple copies. With DPR, print jobs don’t output until the sender is actually at the printer and ready to print. So the sender can delete obsolete or duplicate print jobs before they waste a single piece of paper. It’s good for the environment and good for your bottom line.Boost Productivity
You’ve just printed your presentation materials for an important meeting. Unfortunately, when you walk over to the local mfp device to pick the print job up, you find out that the machine is in the middle of printing 100 copies of a 20 page report. No problem. DPR lets you “pull” the job to any available network printer, so you don’t have to waste time waiting. With DPR, you can also print additional copies – even days later – without having to squander a single second resending the job to the printer. In a traditional network printing set up, you have to specify a printer when you send your print job. But suppose you sent a print job to the color printer on the fourth floor, before realizing that you’re going to be passing a different printer on the first floor on your way to a meeting. DPR lets you “pull” the job to whichever network printer is most convenient, even after you’ve already printed. What if you decide that you need more than one copy? With DPR, you can print additional copies – even days later – without having to waste time resending the job to the printer.Save Time with Email Forwarding
While waiting for that meeting to start, you check your email on your tablet and discover that someone has sent you an Excel file as an attachment. You could go back to your office, reopen the email on your desktop PC, open Excel, open the attachment, and send the file to print. Or, with DPR, you could simply forward the email to a special email address, and DPR will automatically print the attachment. Just think of how much time you’ll save if you have a number of different types of attachments in a single email. In addition to supporting the most popular office document formats (doc, xls, ppt…), DPR supports PDF attachments and most common graphic formats (jpg, tif, png…).
Enhance Accountability
When used in combination with Capella Technologies MegaTrack products, DPR can also help your organization track how its printing resources are being used. In addition to reporting basic information about your print jobs – color vs. monochrome, number of pages, user information… – DPR can also help you track deleted or expired print jobs, demonstrating how many pages your organization saved thanks to pull printing technology.
As Easy to Implement As It Is To Use
Installing DPR on your organization’s network and mobile devices is fast and easy. Your Capella Technologies representative can fill your IT department in on the minimal technical requirements.
Part of a Comprehensive Printing Strategy
DPR can be combined with an array of additional Capella Technologies products to track consumable usage, manage and monitor access to MFP device functions, and further enhance security. Ask your Capella Technologies representative how you can use DPR as part of a comprehensive strategy to improve your workflow, reduce waste and make the best use possible of your printing resources.
